Big Business Selling Face Masks: How your Business Get a Piece of the Action
The Climate Right Now
Under the current social and economic climate there is a huge gap between masks and face masks and the general public. This gap is dangerous and quite frankly something that needs to be bridged. Companies like Belle+Canvas, Eros Wholesale, and Puhff Masks and Accessories are already working to build the connections between product and retailers.
The world right now is requiring masks. They are now a part of daily uniform. Try as people might to push into walmarts and rebel against wearing face masks, there is no changing the fact that they are now a part of our lives. We go out and compliment other’s masks. We even send masks to loved ones. There is no getting around them and the demand is certainly not going to stop anytime soon.
However, there are a lot of face masks that are expensive, poorly packaged masks that are exploiting a need. A lot of these masks break, don’t fit right, and are unflattering.
“I want to wear something that keeps me safe and makes me feel comfortable” Jahayla Jones, Puhff CEO explains, “It’s not enough to make your own masks or buy flimsy ones where you can. We need a better solution”
The Danger of Not Face Masks
While there may be many things we are not doing right during this pandemic, this is probably one of the most disastrous. As the world begins to re-open economies, there the gap between masks and retailers is as big as it has ever been. There has to be a better way to take care of our communities, especially those who are at risk individuals.
This lack of access to resources also opens an opportunity for providers and retailers alike. In a moment of economic crisis this gap allows business to both take care of their communities and generate revenue. Due to the rising numbers of COVID-19 , masks are outselling basics, like eggs and milk. Thus, buying from wholesalers allows for businesses to resell and make money.
“Seeing masks stocked up in Target makes me feel at ease. Like I have control and like it’s okay for me to go out and enjoy what I can in the world right now” Nathaly Mejia from New York City shares.
Making Resources Available and Accessible
Retailers investing and working with companies like Puhff or Belle+Canvas, have an expected increase in sales and revenue. Moreover, there is a projected increase in CAGR of over 30% from 2020 to 2027 in anti-pollution masks. Currently businesses like Target are already working with wholesale providers and are already starting to see a return on their investment. This is a unique situation the business needs to take advantage of. This gap is already being bridged by others and it’s important for more businesses to join and do their part in keeping the economy open and placing power back in the hands of the people.
This is where businesses can really thrive and grow. This gap is huge and waiting for business to help bridge it, to fill it with resources for the public to purchase. Wholesalers like Puhff are trying to make bulk sales affordable, making it an even better investment for bigger retailers like Target.
“I have to trust that stores will provide what we need right now. And I’m willing to pay for those things”, shares an anonymous consumer.
Despite the problems this lack of access currently brings, it is one that is fixable and like i’ve already said, comes with rewards after bridging the gap. It is time for business to go out and find wholesalers and stock up. They can reap the benefits and take advantage of an economic goldmine.
